I am a doer who has shared his knowledge and experience in a variety of ways. When I worked as a photographer and filmmaker, I taught those subjects at many different institutions, from an after-school program for elementary school kids to NYU Graduate School. For many years now, I have worked as a science writer and editor. I mentor many newly minted Chinese scientists and engineers who work for IBM in Beijing, teaching them both English grammar and the proper form and style for peer-reviewed scientific papers they are writing. A Little Bit About Me...

I have taught Anatomy and Physiology, Medical Terminology, Pharmacology, and MS Office applications; also, Microbiology and Immunology, along with General Biology and the Study of Disease. As part of a job training program, I have been an instructor in Biotechnology Skills, and a Course organizer and industry liaison. I performed postdoctoral research for a number of years into the immunopathology of type I (juvenile) diabetes mellitus. I have also investigated the mechanisms of immunoglobulin isotype class-switching. I have conducted Molecular Genetics research into post-meiotic gene expression in mice. My publications include diabetes research, gene expression research, and molecular immunology.
