After receiving my masters in 2005, I went on to work in public accounting for 5 years where I gained experience as an auditor working for a Big 4 CPA firm. Part of my job responsibilities were to develop and coach new staff while on the job. This requires teaching them how to apply their accounting knowledge learned school as well as teaching them accounting principals that were both new or forgotten. During that time is when I discovered that I loved to teach, and I have been tutoring privately ever since. My work experience also includes working as a tax consultant and a business analyst for two different private companies here in Knoxville. That said, I am confident that my background and experience in accounting work be to your benefit. A Little Bit About Me...

While completing my undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering at University of Idaho, I was often called upon to tutor people within the building where I lived during college. I also was employed by the University to grade papers and offer assistance to underclassmen in the Chemical Engineering department. I enjoy seeing children learn new things. I know that every child learns differently. It is important to get to know the children that you are teaching and figure out what teaching technique fits there needs. I feel like I do an excellent job of portraying what I am trying to teach.
I have always loved children. Children are precious and all have very unique learning techniques. When I was a senior at Maryville High School, I taught Spanish to first graders.
