With a little work, you will get there!

I have struggled with the areas I am not proficient in, so I understand what it is to be frustrated and confused. My teaching style is presenting various approaches to the same idea, in hopes that at least one will click, and better yet, each approach with solidify an idea or concept that much more.
Being an undergraduate at WPI and haven taken several Advanced Placement classes in areas outside of math and science, I consider myself a very well rounded student. I was also strongly considered for a MASH program here at the University, or "Math and Science Help", as a Section Leader/Tutor. Going through a lower-middle class urban high school, I was known as that "smart kid" and would often led study groups outside of class to prepare for tests.

Ever since I was a young child, my interest in Mathematics has been profound. Mathematics is much more than a class subject; I have interwoven mathematics as an integral (no pun intended) part of my life since I was a toddler. In High school I was frequently participating in Calculus competitions, at which I received two 1st prize awards and wide recognition. My high school teachers noted my skill in mathematics and invited me to become a math tutor in their department. I know all students learn differently so I may take a direct method where we will go over the facts and jump straight into the material. Another method will be re-examining the material and finding what the student already knows and how that student normally studies.
