When learning or teaching a subject, I particularly focus on gaining or providing a solid foundation of the concepts at hand. This will often necessitate breaking down the material into delicate, bite-size pieces or approaching the material from as many angles as necessary for a solid comprehension. I also believe that you must have some flexibility in teaching in understanding that some topics may take longer to cover than initially expected.
