My comments on tutoring Pre-Algebra : Most students who never mastered their math facts begin to seriously falter at this level. I have programs to quickly and easily master these facts. Then I use an assessment to identify the concepts not mastered. Fractions, percents, and order of operations are the most common. I have many ways to teach these concepts.

I homeschooled my three daughters for 10 years, right through high school. All three have gone on to Colllege and have excelled, making the Dean's list. In the work world, two have been highly praised for their writing skills. After homeschooling, I began tutoring. I have over 5 years experience and have tutored elementary, middle school, high school, and college students, as well as adults preparing for exams such as the GED. I graduate with my BS in Middle Grades Education on Dec 20th. I am ceritifed in Math and Social Studies and will seek my certification in Language Arts in Jan 2013.
