As an University of Iowa graduate I have always held education as a high value. I have dedicated my time to personally achieving excellence in education, as well as helping others do the same. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology, a minor in Social Work and with a year and a half math experience at the college level. What has allowed me to progress to a higher level of education is that I understand what is expected in the educational system. I am successful in school because I am familiar with the manner in which subjects are taught. Through my experiences in tutoring and mentoring, I have learned different teaching techniques. I understand that not everyone learns the same way, so I try to explain the material in different manners, show visuals when applicable, and give numerous examples. I recently graduated with honors from West Chester University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Spanish Education.
