From my teaching experience at the University of Iowa, I think that the level of understanding of the subject varies from student to student. Some students grasp the subject easily while it is hard for others. Therefore I always try to teach the subject in a manner that will consider all the different levels of students and in which questions are encouraged.
I have earned two MS degrees and a BS degree in chemistry in my academic career. I have two-and-a-half year experience of teaching undergraduate students at the University of Iowa. I attended the University of Northern Iowa as an undergraduate where I received a bachelor’s degree in biology in May 2009. Beginning in August I will be attending Des Moines University where I will be pursuing a career as a doctor. Aside from having a passion for learning, I also greatly enjoy helping others. I believe the best way to learn is peer-to-peer learning. As an auto-didact I have the study skills necessary to regurgitate information as taught by the current institutional models.
