My comments on tutoring Economics : Although I am a Finance Major, I always loved my economic courses. By far my favorite courses in college!!

I like to help students discover the solutions and answers on their own. I am here to help guide them in the right direction not to provide the answer.
I spent the last several years preparing to become a teacher and have enjoyed every bit of it. I have spent time in the classroom, varying from 4th grade and up not only in math classes, which I will be teaching, but others as well. Although it was not necessary to get a Minor in Education to become a teacher, I decided that it would be in my best interest to gain as much knowledge on different teaching styles and approaches to developing my own classroom environment. All students have the ability to learn it just comes down to understanding the best way to help a student achieve at the highest level possible.

A Little Bit About Me...

I am a native French and English speaker with a bachelor degree in Business Administration with specialization in Information Systems. I graduated first of my class with a perfect GPA, summa cum laude. As a member of the honors program, I had to do a lot of researches and presentations at public events. It made be feel good to see that I could educate people with the findings in my researches. I tutored math to some high school students after I graduated high school. I tutored math, accounting, French, and other subjects to my friends while I was in college. I was thinking of pursing a career in academia but I want to teach more and see how it goes. I love to learn and everyone learns differently. I believe that if the information is not being understood one way, then we need to find another way to instruct. Hands-on learning and learning through experience always leaves a lasting impression. Just memorizing facts, although in some cases that is necessary, it is just not fun for all students and just may not stick unless learned in a fun way. I want to make learning fun because no one should ever stop learning. There is just too much out there to sit back and let life pass you by.
