I have just completed my bachelors degree in elementary education from the University of Nebraska (Lincoln). I have had practicum experiences in 1st, 2nd, and 5th grade along with my student teaching semester in 3rd grade. At the age of 17, I am considered a Sophomore in college and will most likely be a commissioned Air Force Officer before I am 20 years old. This degree enabled me to study organic and inorganic chemistry, biology (immunology, biochemistry etc.), math (statistics, calculus) and 1 year of physics. My favorite class, however, was a psychology class called learning and behavior. I then took a year and a half break from teaching to recruit for a small college. I went back into teaching as a grade 7-12 mathematics teacher.
