CSS is one of my top subjects! My specialty subject is front-end Web development, and CSS is one of my strongest languages. I can help you at any level from your very first web page to advanced topics, such as choosing better selectors, debugging cross-browser issues, using frameworks and resets like Normalize, precompilers like SASS or LESS, and much more.

I prefer personal and small group teaching, but I can also do online tutoring with Webex. I like to get to know my students and their goals. My comments on tutoring CSS : I have about five years of experience with CSS and I can help students both with the syntax of CSS and with creating effects such as centered content blocks and rollover effects.

I try to work with students to find connections between different aspects of the material that we're working on as well as to find connections to other subjects. I find that by relating specific topics to broader perspectives on a subject as well as related subjects, the student can gain a greater appreciation for the coherence and importance of a particular subject area.
I have experience working with students who are advanced and seeking supplementary tutoring as well as with students who are having difficulty with a subject. I have tutored mathematics as well as chemistry, biology, physics, and other subjects. I have tutored students from a range of ages and I worked with my first student over four years ago while I was in college.
