A Little Bit About Me...

I like teaching students by explaining the material in a way I think is easiest to understand. I always emphasize how the material relates to what students already knows and how they can use what they know to solve problems. Often students cannot see how what they are learning can ever be useful in real life situations so I also try to give examples of when they might use what we are covering. Practical examples and theory are equally important. Before finalizing the class schedule for a semester it is important to understand average understanding of the class. Tutor should ask questions frequently to find out whether class is following or not and accordingly he/she can change the way of teaching. Small evaluation test is good once a week so the concepts get cleared time to time.
I was a teaching assistant for past 1 year for 2 different subjects for 2 semesters. I used to conduct lab sessions, correct home works, labs and quizzes.
