My personal style of learning is to learn by doing. I get my students involved in any process and get them to actually do the work so they learn it from experience, not just reading about it and taking for granted they know what is going on. Seeing the steps in action and seeing the final result brings a sense of accomplishment, which helps a student learn the correct way of doing whatever it is they are trying to learn.
I have lead many training sessions dealing with a multitude of different topics. I do my homework, and make sure I am fully prepared before any training session. A Little Bit About Me...

I obtained a bachelor of science in chemistry from the University of Alabama. But more importantly, i was deeply involved with cutting-edge scientific research throughout my undergraduate experience. In essence, I didn't just study to pass my exams, I studied to understand the material so that I can be able to teach someone else. I have also tutored introductory physics I and II at the university of Alabama center for Teaching and Learning. At first, I started out as a "typical" tutor - and had one-on-one tutoring sessions with college students. The session lasted about one hour per student. A Little Bit About Me...

I have tutored students in math and science (mainly math) for over 13 years. I have helped students in various levels of mathematics - basic math, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and pre-calculus. After working with me on a consistent basis (2/3 days/week) many of the students have received honors in their math courses, including "Most Improved" and "Highest Average". I am also proud to say that a couple of students have actually decided to pursue careers that require a good understanding of math - i.e. engineering, architecture.
I enjoy working with students of all ages, although most of my experience has been with middle school age and older.
