Some students learn better by hearing the concept. It is helpful for them to first have a conversation about what the subject matter is, and how it is used, and then proceed to the actual lessons. While attending Centenary College, I ascertained the skills necessary to overcome any mathematical problem or situation that may come my way. I also was enrolled in the Mathematics Honor Society where I tutored students for the Math Praxis Exam for my entire senior year.
