Over the past six months I have been substitute teaching while pursuing my master's degree in elementary education. My teaching style can best be described as entertaining, insightful, dedicated, flexible and individually-oriented. I feel that for any individual who chooses to learn something new, the biggest key to their success is motivation and their personal interest in what they are looking to learn. I also recognize that many students (especially young learners) are guided to study various lessons/fields by parents/educators and they need to find what they are being guided to study interesting in some way. I work to create a welcoming rapport with students and then, using my knowledge of the study being taught along with paying close attention to the desires and needs of a student, create a lesson that student finds interesting and therefore become drawn to.
