I have spent the last three year being a nanny and tutor for kids in a variety of age groups. I believe that the best way for a tutor to assist the student is to adapt to the individual’s learning style. I believe anyone can teach a subject, having enough knowledge of a subject allows one to pass it on. However, I feel what many teachers do not do is teach students how to learn. It is in my belief that teaching students to learn enables them to think independently allowing them to become more creative rather than repetitive.
