A Little Bit About Me...

Teacher of English as a Second Language – that was my initial BA. Being a native Russian speaker, I was able to understand nuances of learning and teaching foreign languages. After three years of experience as a school teacher I was awarded a Teacher of the Year scholarship. Then I began to practice personal tutoring. MA in Directing and Acting provided me with even deeper understanding of applied psychology. I worked as a professor and tutored both college and high school students. My style of teaching is non- traditional. I try to find common elements that a student can identify with and enforce these elements into how they can remember the materials they are learning. I use a very basic approach and try to make sure a student comprehends what I am trying to teach them.
