I have tutored many different kinds of students, adjusting my teaching style to see what works best for them. I am very patient and can explain things in more than one way. I try to see how the student learns and understands best so that I can adjust and we can make the most of our time. It can be very frustrating for the student to not understand immediately, but breaking down the problem into multiple doable steps can give the student a sense of accomplishment as well as hope to try another problem.
