After completing my BBA in Marketing, I began teaching for the Bradford Union Career and Technical Center. I taught business and systems technology to inmates at a state prison for approximately 2 1/2 years. After leaving the Career Center I opened my own business which I currently run. I graduated from Davidson College with a major in economics, which has enabled me to gain an understanding of both math and social science. I tutored during my junior and senior years in North Carolina and I've also done private tutoring in Gainesville. In addition, I coached 4-12 year olds how to swim. If I can teach 4 year olds who are screaming and kicking how to swim I can teach someone math or ecnomoics.
I really enjoy teaching all ages. From my background in coaching young children how to swim I've become well adjusted to dealing with difficult situatioins in a learning environment.
