Ready to Speak with Hands!!! Beginners to advanced

I am a licensed Sign Language Interpreter living in the Charlotte area. Professionally, I have around 3 years experience in the school systems as well as interpreting in the community. I have traveled and moved to several states for assignments. I have lead several sign clubs to teach students sign language.
I believe that in order to truly learn a language you must practice and be thrown into the language. I adjust my teaching style based on your level. If someone is more advanced in the language, I may do completely voice off in order to insure the signing is the most accurate. I am willing (if student wants) to occasionally have our meetings at Deaf events to gain more practice. For beginners I will start from the basics and work our way up.

Sign Language is one of my top subjects! I attended Gallaudet University where I became fluent in ASL, and I work as an NIC Advanced RID certified interpreter.

My goal as a tutor is to figure out what's missing that, if you had it, would make all the difference. That's the reason you pay for an instructor instead of just reading a book or watching a video. My job is to see where you are and where you are aiming for, then plot the path and light your way. My expertise is in figuring out how to get you to get it, and ultimately to get you to a point where you don't need me any more.
