My comments on tutoring Organic Chemistry : Organic Chemistry can be a terrible subject. But, when approached in the right way understanding it can be very straight forward. With 4 years of Teaching Assistant experience and 2 years of personal tutoring experience I know everyone learns a little bit differently.

Masters of Science with thesis Biology, Microbiology 2009 from Missouri Bachelors of Science Chemisty, Bio Chemisty, 2008 from Missouri Two years of private tutoring, both high school and college levels Four years as a Teaching Assistant - General Biology, Cellular Biology. My comments on tutoring Organic Chemistry : I received a 3.5 in Organic Chem I and a 4.0 in Organic Chem II.

I don't any paid, professional tutoring experience. However, I have volunteered my services to family members and friends. During my sophomore year, I took Organic Chemistry and excelled. However, my friends were struggling. They hated me a bit for how easy it came to me. I decided to tutor them and help them with homework assignments and studying. They ended up doing very well on the exams, allowing them to secure a 3.0 or higher in the course. I also had to regular help my classmates out with more complex problems in Physics. I was not so much tutoring as working together with them on the homework, but still, it involved clear explanation and a thorough knowledge of the subject matter.
