I have a relaxed, stress-free teaching style, while staying on task and topic. I make sure the pupils really understand the material by breaking things down to the basics, and reviewing the foundations. After reviewing and application of the concepts, I have my students switch roles and "teach" me the material. I believe if you can explain the material to someone else, you really understand it.
I double-majored in biology in chemistry in undergrad, so the field of science and medicine is my first love and my strength. A Little Bit About Me...

I am currently a freshman in college who is double majoring in Computer Science and Math. I've done the occasional work of helping students with their homework. I have been a Teacher's Assistant for a teacher who taught BC Calculus and IB Math HL. Every so often I would teach lessons for teachers and help classes review for tests. Individually, students gave me positive feedback on help/tutoring.
Preferably 1 on 1. I like to work the problem out with the student. Start out with easy problems on their current lesson to help break down harder problems. I can do small groups as well, 3 max maybe 4, as long as they are all on the same topic/lesson.

Trigonometry is one of my top subjects!

I am a recent high school graduate. I graduated in the top fourth of my class. My GPA is a 3.48. My best subject is math. I enjoy helping and working with others to help them succeed. I completed a class in high school named Teach Cadet where I learned the basics about education and the importance of being a versatile teacher. I was able to work with children from head start to elementary level. I also was a member of two organizations at school where I worked with sixth graders about the importance of goals and worked with fourth graders about the importance of team work.

I am a graduate from Randolph College formally known as Randolph Macon Woman's College. Currently I am working on obtaining an additional degree in Chemistry. I have taken classes in advanced mathematics, biology, chemistry and physics. As a person labeled LD I understand and have developed techniques to learn material. I believe that anyone can learn any subject if you give them the proper tools. Setting goals and meeting them is only part of the battle, Knowing what when wrong and how to fix it is the other half. As a NOAA Corps Officer, I helped teach new personnel many facets of our day-to-day operations, from instructing new officers on getting their Officer of the Deck qualifications to preparing new survey techs for their hydrographer-in-charge qualification, and new deck hands assigned to my watch how to drive the ship and steer accurate survey lines.
