I love math, so I try to convey my love for math on the student. I like to explain things in terms of what they understand and build upon it into the new material that they are working on. I am patient and willing to spend as much time as needed till the information is understood. I make effective use of diagrams and charts to help visualize what students are actually calculating. This helps as a check to see if their work is correct. I try to lean towards understanding over memorization wherever possible.

I currently attend graduate school at Stony Brook where I'm working towards a Master of Public Health degree. I have undergraduate degrees in Physical Therapy and Biomathematics. I am excellent with standardized test preparation, never having placed less than the 90th percentile in any standardized test. I have never been a formal tutor.
