Hi! I'm Brian and my artist name is Lovejack! Thanks for checking out my page. I mostly teach pop/contemporary voice, songwriting, music production AND violin, viola, cello. I've got a long history with my band Streetlight Cadence, most notably I'm an Emmy-nominated Producer for our TV show Will Play For Food. Basic piano geared towards student interest level. Many of my students have quit piano from other teachers because they were bored or forced to play the same classical song for 4 months until it was perfect. I engage the student.
I began playing piano at the age of 5. At 13 I started teaching piano in Hawaii Kai at the request of neighbors and the business has continued all these years. A Little Bit About Me...

Graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in Mechanical Engineering. With that degree I have taken gain extensive knowledge in math and science subjects. With this knowledge I have tutored many high school students. I would say total tutor experience would be at least a year.
My style of teaching is clear pictorial style. I try to teach concept through a visual way, using shapes, graphs, drawings,etc. I try to teach by example as well. I will try to give examples of how a problem is solve if a person needs it.
