I graduated National-Louis University with a 3.7 GPA, and am also in the Kappa Delta Pi honors society for teaching. I have had many years of experience in the classroom, and with many different programs. I also have tutored previously for Sylvan tutoring. I am a Golden Apple Scholar, which is a prestigious award for teaching scholars that I won my senior year of high school. My experience has mostly been with younger students but recently I have tutored some high school students, as well.
I am very passionate about teaching. I am a very hands-on type of teacher that really likes to get the student involved in their learning. I graduated magna Cum Laude with a 3.9/4.0. I am motivated to do the best I can in all facets of life. I have 16 years experience owning and operating my own Performing Arts Studio and instructing classes for 2 years through adult. I enjoyed the opportunity of seeing things through the eyes of children, experiencing their eagerness for learning, and being a part of opening them to reading, language, music, and movement activities to increase their communication skills. I am married and have one extraordinary twelve year old daughter. Family life is a very important part of my life.
