I am a high school teacher of 25.5 years. I graduated from Mobile College with a Bachelor of Science degree, and from Alabama State University with a Master's degree, both in education. My experience has been working with students that are academically disadvantaged. I have tutored elementary students in reading and language for over 10 years. It is my ultimate goal to see that each student strengthens/increase their areas of weaknesses in reading and language.
I'm a firm believer that all children are different, yet, all are capable of learning. It is the responsibility of the teacher/tutor to identify the specific learning style of the students they are responsible for. I have worked in Industrial Management since 1982, holding many positions that include training requirements. Coaching employees to learn new tasks or further their education through our state of the art, on site Learning Lab, is my passion. I have taught Crosby's Quality College to Management classes, motivational sessions to hourly employees, and presented strategic vision to Senior Leadership.
