A Little Bit About Me...

I am a recently graduated Master's student with extensive experience in teaching and tutoring and working with students of all ages. I currently hold both a BA and an MA in English, and while completing my Master's degree I was a Graduate Assisant, teaching two freshman level writing classes per semester. This position allowed me to work closely with students in the writing and research process, as well as providing me with multiple teaching tools to improve my instruction. I have been blessed with professors at the university level who understand the importance of one-on-one instruction. Through the "creativity" of thoughtful instructors I have seen myself grow and develop in ways that I hadn't thought possible. Every student learns differently, and once the instructor gets to know the student well enough and is able to tailor their lessons to the needs of the student, true learning happens.
