I am a Marshall University student and Adjunct Faculty member. I have earned a bachelor degree in Communications Studies with a minor in Public Relations. In 2006, I received a Master's degree in Communications with an emphasis in Oral Speaking. Presently, I am two semesters away from an Ed.S. in Higher Education with hopes of entering the doctorate program next fall. I have taaught a variety of levels of Communication courses at Marshall University, MCTC, and Huntington Junior College. I have a passion for teaching. I beleive it was what I was born to do. I have earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, which has enabled me to enter the retail financial advisory World where a person's retirement assets are not something to be "gambled" with, since they will need their money in their later years when they can no longer work to produce income. I paid my way through college teaching driver's education at a local Christian school, and also worked as a part time Police Officer. I love children of all ages. I am very patient and laid back. I am kind, and considerate of others. My goal would be to help the child learn and understand, while making the experience a fun and rewarding one. I believe everyone has the ability to do whatever they strive for. I had a teacher in my youth that made such a huge impact in my life, and I have always wanted to repay that favor to other children.
