A Little Bit About Me...

I have worked most of my adult life in education or journalism, and I was able to combine my two passions as a journalism professor at the college level for several years. I am currently a visiting lecturer in media studies at Bridgewater State College and a substitute teacher in local schools. I have taught social studies, business and typing in secondary schools. I also have taught in other venues -- as an exercise instructor for youth, adults and disabled individuals, as a word processing instructor, and as an English as a Second Language instructor to new immigrants through Literacy Volunteers of America. I have used my teaching skills as an editor at several newspapers, coaching new reporters and correspondents.

A Little Bit About Me...

I love working with children of all ages. Children can learn very fast by talking, playing games and if properly taught they can remember in the long term. I am here to help children of all ages from english to math. I am very easy going, become a little kid with a child and am always smiley. I have a goods ways of explaining basic math, algebra, basic accounting and any business courses for older students and i can work around their way of thinking. I strive to make a difference in the people, as my position as a resident assistant allowed me to and as a law student wanted to make a difference. Because law didn't allow me to do so, teaching and working with kids helps me make a big difference.
