A Little Bit About Me...

I have worked in Industrial Management since 1982, holding many positions that include training requirements. Coaching employees to learn new tasks or further their education through our state of the art, on site Learning Lab, is my passion. I have taught Crosby's Quality College to Management classes, motivational sessions to hourly employees, and presented strategic vision to Senior Leadership. A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated from the University of South Alabama with an Elementary Education degree in December of 2005. During this time, I completed my student teaching at Holloway Elementary School. During the year of student teaching, I learned to work with diverse learning styles, varying stages of development as well as a multitude of learning tools.
I enjoy working with children of all ages. It is the duty of the teacher to meet children where they are and help them develop skills in their unique learning style. Learning should be interesting; an exploration of their world. I am patient, kind and enjoy encouraging children in their potential. A Little Bit About Me...

I have always loved to work with children. My job while in college was teaching children at a learning center. I also have tutored several children throughout the years that were having difficulties in either math or English. I have a strong background in math and English, but also have experience in psychology, sociology, and science. I believe a child can achieve whatever they put their mind to, but some times they need a little push to achieve that. There is no need to get frustrated with a child during a learning process because they are during their best and it is our jobs as adults to guide them in the right direction.
