EXCELLENT EDUCATOR!!!

My teaching and classroom management style is very authoritative. I like to set clear and concise classroom rules and expectations. Teachers should take time to set rules in a visible place for students, review them daily, and have consequences when the rules are not followed. However, students will be acknowledged for doing the right thing through classroom recognition or a prize. Students should have a set routine each day. This will allow them to know and understand what to expect with the classroom. If the routine has to be changed, this is explained ahead of time and students are guided into the transition. This will alleviate discipline problems.

To make my teaching more effective, I usually psyche my student to see how the mood to learn is. Should the mood be down at first, I would just come up with something fun, educative, something that can help to boost someone's IQ score. I have also used the NCLB Method, No Child Left Behind Method. In it, we use examples for every question, and evaluate the students every week to enhance greater learning.
I have always been a tutor of almost every class I took in high school, college, and even graduate school. I was always acting as a teacher figure to my friends, and my peers. I usually tutor Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. After I earned my BS in Chemistry, I totored K-12, and taught ESL to foreign students at South Florida Community College. More info will follow later.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have worked with children and adult learners for quite a while now. So, from my experience and formal education, I know that children and adults learn in different ways. The ways in which they process information that is presented on any given subject really depends on the students learning style. I tailor my instruction to the individuals learning style( visual, auditory, kinesthetic ).
I have always had a passion for math and science. This passion has lead me to pursue careers in areas that will allow me to apply my knowledge of math and science. However, while in these fields I discovered that I enjoyed helping and teaching others. So, after realizing this I decided to go into teaching full time. I have scored the open ended portions of math and science standardized tests. After being a scorer I moved into the area of educational training where I trained others to score t ... read more
