My comments on tutoring Elementary Study Skills : Each child has their own individual learning strategies and I work with them to find the best way for them to learn. Ex: hands on, auditory, kinesthetic.

When I first meet my students, I want them to feel comfortable with me and what we will be doing. I try to get to know them as we work together and find out what their interests, hobbies, strengths, weaknesses, and other important factors in their lives. I will work on homework, projects, test preparation, as well as activities and lessons I have used to be successful. I want the student and parent to develop a relationship with me where we can talk openly about the work and progress!
