My comments on tutoring Writing : I've only published one book, but I love writing fiction, especially for children. I have written many successful grants, proposals, and other technical papers. I'm just as good at teaching this subject. It's not as hard, or as easy, as it seems.

As an educator, I believe that I must be willing to step outside the norm to meet the diverse needs of students, in order to effectively reach them. This implies that I try a variety of approaches.
