As a communications professional, I have more than 20 years of experience as a writer and editor. I teach by example, leading the student through a problem by asking questions about each step so that they can learn how to approach the problem themselves. I watch and evaluate the students as they work and provide guidence when thy make errors. I enjoy interacting with children of all ages and I do so in a kind and curteous manner. I have just finished my first year in the MFA-Fiction program at The University of Montana where I also worked as a Teaching Assistant in the English department. As a Teaching Assistant, I taught Basic Composition to undergraduates.
