A Little Bit About Me...

I have just graduated high school, and have just finished thirteen years of learning. I have ADD, and have had a semester's worth of interning at the Specialized Language Development Center, working with kids who struggle with reading, writing, and comprehension. Kids brought to the center are usually dyslexic, ADD/ADHD, or have some type of learning disability, however, those without disabilities come for help too, ranging from kindergarden all the way to college level students.

As a graduate of Andrews University, I was confronted with the task of completing a degree in the field of Engineering. With diligent efforts and a drive to overcome the academic challenges once faces as a student, I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. With much exposure to technical papers and lab reports, I have acquired exceptional grammatical skills. As a student, I have always indirectly tutored, helping fellow classmates in various subjects.

One of the reasons that I'm interested in tutoring is that, although I love working with individual students and small groups, I am less interested in classroom management, discipline and the rest of the duties that come along with substitute teaching.
