I am a Certified Public Accountant with over 30 years of accounting and finance experience. Although I have no formal teaching degree, I feel that I would be an excellent tutor. First, I have successfully trained many employees over the years. Second, my two sons, ages 21 and 19 graduated numbers 2 and 1 in their high school classes, respectively. Now, both are "straight A" students at the University of Tennessee. Here, I feel that I have lead by example. The greatest reward one can achieve is to see the smile on someones face when they have found success in understanding something they felt impossible. I feel that there is no single method to learning, instead it is each individuals character that defines their own learning methods. I like to seek out what drives an individual to help them find their own passion about learning. With everything I do in life I go 150% and never give up. I am a senior studying Animal and Poultry Sciences at Virginia Tech.
