My comments on tutoring Literature : I am a certified K-8 elementary teacher and have taught for 8 years. I have my Master's Degree in Reading. I have my Reading Specialist certification and have taught first grade for most of my career. Thus, I have extensive work teaching students the various aspects of Literature.

I began my college journey as an English major. I decided to switch to Elementary Education to be able to reach future writers before they lost the love for it. I have worked with all ages from toddlers to seniors in high school. I have been published in world wide devotional for women along with a world wide magazine. I have taught writing in schools to children who were struggling as well. Writing is who I am. My passion has been there since I first learned how to write in Kindergarten.

A Little Bit About Me...

As an active member of my community, in the form of pageantry, volunteering, and leadership, I have always enjoyed instructing others. The majority of my tutoring experience took place at Northern Illinois University from 2007 to 2008. There I worked in the NIU Writers’ Workshop, tutoring freshman students with assignments from their English classes. I worked with the same students each week (usually one or two at a time for 50 minutes) on both personal narratives and research papers.
