I believe that all subjects, especially math and the sciences are based on a core of basic fundamentals. I believe that until the fundamentals are understood that it is not possible to advance to the higher aspects of any subject. I enjoy teaching very much and believe that I have much to give back to young students. I am convinced that a good education is vital to becoming a constructive and well rounded adult citizen.
I have a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, and as such I am certified to teach all sciences and math at all grade levels in the State of Florida. I believe people learn through doing. Especially with mathematics I ensure that concepts are clearly presented to my students. Then I motivate then to try to do the problems, with my guidance, and as they gain confidence to eventually work problems on their own. This is the approach I use for chemistry as well. With biology my emphasize is on student understanding the principle so that they can apply in differ situation
