Between the years of 1978 and 1984 I was a monitor and then a supervisor in a small Christian school using the ACE curriculum. They have various programmed learning booklets teaching all of the major subjects. You are actually more of a tutor than a teacher if you work with these booklets. I have experience in the four major areas of learning which are English, Math, Social Studies, and Science. I was with students from first through twelfth grade. While I was college I had occasion to take two years of college level English and also statistics up through 600 level. The English helped when I was writing my Master’s Thesis, it was 120 pages long. My committee found it to be well written. The statistics was the basis for the thesis.

Both of my parents were teachers and I find myself sharing my knowledge with anyone who seems to need it. I started off college at Mohawk Valley Community College and earned a Liberal Arts and Science degree. I feel that all college students should be well rounded and should take a wide variety of courses. I then enrolled at Utica College to finish my BS degree. Over those two years, I took 18 science courses and most of them were accompanied by labs. It was stressful and difficult but it was something I was determined to complete.
