Best tutor imporved grades in three weeks or less

I have years of experience I have been tutoring since I was in high school. I learned some very valuable learning skills that I can pass on to the younger kids or older kids I work good with both and because I am a lil younger then most tutors I seem to get a more positive feedback from the child then I would if I was ten years older. Learning is fun.

I am patient and laid back. Not going to put kids/students on the spot. People cannot learn with out acceptance. I disapprove of a critical teacher. I have had my share. Learning is important to self esteem.
Nursing school taught me nursing math. Nursing math is converting quantities from one form of a unit to another unit, for example milliliters to liters. I had a fear of math but with enough practice we can all learn math. I have taken various college classes and now have 200 hours of college. Do you need an advanced tutor?

My teaching style depends on the student, it is adaptable. Some people are more visual, others are more lecture type, it all depends on the person.
Experience tutoring MS, PhD, post-doctoral, or resident-interns in the medical field. I also have tutored established PE type engineers and MBAs for executive type presentations. Passionate Elementary Education Tutor

A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style is one of patience and fun. I let the children read aloud and when I cross a word I think they don’t understand I stop. First I try to determine if they can answer the word based upon its place in the sentence. I encourage them to stretch their brains. I make a contest of who can find the word the fastest in the dictionary and we discuss the meaning.
I have been substitute teaching in the Dallas Independent School District for the past three school years. I teach grades six through twelve but would love to teach elementary. I found there were too many students in each class to give the younger children the individual attention they need. While I cover all subjects, Reading is my specialty.
