Education is essential for the mind to grow.

I have helped people with their English-speaking skills off and on and am very skilled in spelling and grammar. I've been learning Japanese for going on three years, as well. I'm aware that it's not a particularly high in-demand language to learn, but I am more than willing to aid in learning it if it is desired. Also, having graduated high school, I have enough knowledge to teach kids about the basics of science, math, and English.
On the whole, I look for a rather creative approach when it comes to learning and studying. I ask that students be skeptical in all they hear and read, so asking questions as a form of studying will be essential. Just reading a book or looking at flash cards for studying purposes can prove to be tedious and ineffective. And putting what's learned in context is always necessary if the subject calls for any everyday application.

A Little Bit About Me...

I am a recent Bachelor of Science in Child Studies graduate of FGCU and hold a current FCCPC. I am considered a non-traditional graduate (which in my case means older), and I bring with me a range of personal and professional experiences that have developed and enhanced my capacity for learning, teaching, and adaptability. My primary interest in learning is focused on the social-emotional and cognitive influences that create the optimal conditions for brain function during the learning process.
