Fueling Our Future Leaders for Tomorrow's Success!

I am very patient, and I take pride in my ability to relate to so many different students at different grade levels. I am not strict, but I expect hard work and dedication from my pupils.
I have worked as a Sunday school teacher instructing children ages ten through sixteen. I also taught vacation Bible school during the summers. During my senior year of high school, I mentored a young lady named Olivia Draper with whom I received a $2500.00 scholarship from Champions for Children for college.I also worked as a substitute teacher for Madison County Schools in 2009-2010. I worked most of my substituting assignments at the alternative school. I fell in love with the desire to teach students while working with the students there. I noticed there is a need for passionate educators. I plan to begin the movement.

A Little Bit About Me...

During my four years at Millsaps, I gained much more than my degree. I learned how to take vast amounts of information and structure it in a way that allowed me to memorize and retain it. To exit Millsaps College, it is necessary to take an exit exam which is comprehensive. Because of this, I am an authority on the subject of biology. I have also had extensive coursework in the areas of Chemistry (general and organic), physics, English, and many other subjects that really make a transcript necessary to see what an asset I could be to Advanced Learners.
At Millsaps, I was a member of Beta Beta Beta which is a biology honor society. As a member, I was responsible for tutoring underclassmen for two years.
