A Little Bit About Me...

When I have "tutored" fellow colleagues and students in the past, I have learned that one must be creative in their teaching so that every person can learn in their own way. Creativity is the key to helping a person understand, even playful games have their place in teaching. I have always been a team player and have excellent interpersonal skills. Also, I will be taking the Praxis I tomorrow in preparation of teaching in the fall. *(In the above question on years of experience, the "20" years are of teaching/tutoring of colleagues and fellow students, not tutoring in a formal sense.)

A Little Bit About Me...

I am a graduate of the University of Southern MS, with a undergraduate in Business Marketing. I began teaching and tutoring in 2008-2009 school for Jackson Public Schools. I underwent the Alternative Route for teaching for ceritification. I am the Aaccelerated Reader Coordinator for Lee Elementary School. I also serve as Head Librarian for the school as well. Our school has implemented a plan in which Resource staff tutors daily. I tutor grades 3-5 in areas of Mathematics, Reading and Language Arts. In addition, I am exceptional with grammatical skills and love to write papers.

A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated cum laude from Jackson State University. I am currently pursuing a master's degree in mass comm/english literature. I have developed extensive grammatical and writing skills by doing research papers for myself as well as assisting fellow peers and other students who had a need for a writer. During the last three years I have tutored and taught education in my church for the purposes of uplifting the educational ministry.
I have a love for education. This is my gift by teaching others what I have been taught throughout my educational life as well as professional life. I am easy going, patient and considerate of others. I don't beleieve in the verbage "slow learners", we all can learn if taught appropriately. Teaching is one of the most rewarding profession in my opinion.
