I have taken almost all the math classes offered at ICC, and for the whole year of 2008, I have worked as a math tutor with the ICC Math Lab in the East Peoria Campus. Since earing my degree in CIS I have had 10 years of industry experience as well as having worked as a substitute teacher in both the Galesburg (CUSD #205, 200-2001) and Peoria (District 150,2007-Present) School Districts.

I love teaching. I us a guiding method of teaching. Because I believe that students learn the most when they do the work themselves, but sometimes they need someone there to motivate them or to guide them in the right direction. A Little Bit About Me...

During my graduate program at SIU, I become a teaching assistant and fell in love with teaching. I taught undergraduate laboratory in microbiology and bacteriology to undergraduate students. I have earned a bachelor's in Biology from Augustana and am finishing writing my thesis to obtain my Master's in Biological Sciences from SIU. Since I have written and critiqued my thesis, research papers, lab reports, and other science papers, I have gained much knowledge in grammar.
