I received my Early Childhood Degree from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, IL. I started teaching thereafter. I have taught young children for 4 1/2 years. In addition to teaching I tutored children after school for Title I Reading/Math through Springfield School District. I tutored 4 days a week Monday-Thursday for 1 hour. Right now I am planning on going back to school to get my special ed endorsement and eventually my Master's Degree in Special Ed. I would also love to get a degree in Social Work. Serving as an in house substitute provided me with experience working with large groups, as well as working with students on an individual basis.
