I have three teenagers at home. I began as a substitute teacher in 2005. I worked in a life skills classroom for one and a half years. After graduating with my Bachelor's degree I worked as a resource and content mastery teacher for 4 years in grades K-5 teaching all subjects. I worked for one year in grades K-5 as a resource teacher for Reading, Math, and Language Arts. This is my first year as an inclusion teacher. I have worked with students of all abilities and disabilities. I have also provided in-home training for parents of children with disabilities.

I encourage a display-practice approach. This is when the student watches the tutor complete the problem step-by-step, and then works out a similar problem independently. I have passed AP World History, US History, Government, Economics, and several other honor classes.
