After having raised 4 children, I know that each child has a different learning style. One may be very able to understand abstract thoughts and teaching styles while the other may not. Therefore, tutoring must be done on a very individual basis. My undergraduate degree and work experience was in criminal justice. Since retiring from the investigative field I have obtained my Masters in Education specializing in literacy and learning in the content areas. I was homeschooled for the majority of my education which enabled me to assit my younger brothers and sisters in their studies. I taught a few Science classes including botony and a study of birds and have tutored in highschool math as well. I played volleyball, took 3 years of piano, and was a member of Chior as well. I worked as a teachers aide in a preschool for 2 years. I worked with children from the age of 6 weeks to 5 years. I plan on going to college for either business or diognostic sonography.
