My comments on tutoring Chess : When I was younger, I was very interested in chess and read many books on the game.

My experience with these subjects comes from my educational background. I have studied them all during my pre-college years and have also expanded my knowledge and experience during my time in college. While in high school, I completed several mathematics courses, including several semesters of calculus. I also embarked on a course which was interdisciplinary in nature and covered all required subjects not included in mathematics and science. Since I have been at college, I have participated in my university's honors program, and an interdisciplinary program in the honors college.
I try to clearly explain topics and concepts to others, avoiding making assumptions about what they might know or not know about the subject or topic. This is my second time tutoring and my first time was a great experience. It was stressful a first but after I formed a bond with those I tutored, everything else was simple. In high school, Math as never my strongest subjects, and it still isn't unless its Elementary Math. I had to take ALGEBA 1 three times! Any History subject and Language Arts is my strongest areas. I love History.
