My comments on tutoring Shakespeare : I have a college level education (third year undergrad) in all English areas, however I feel that it would be most efficient to use my knowledge to tutor elementary and high school level English.

I have tutored many young students throughout my life, and have been tutored myself. I do find it easier to work with younger children; however, I am capable of assisting those of high school or college age students who are struggling. I have helped young children learn how to read, write, count, and tell time on an analog clock. Though I do not have strictly professional tutoring experience (I have never been paid for my services) I know how to identify student's learning style(s) and work with them a way that they will benefit from. I believe that children and adult education is extremely important, and I can also assist those of any age who would like to learn to read and write.

My comments on tutoring Shakespeare : I've been studying Shakespeare since middle school and have studied his work as both literature and as theatre.

I am very creative and hands on! Route memorization does not work for everybody and I believe in teaching flexibility.
Although I am not a certified teacher of Japanese, I know what it is like to be a student of it. I first went to Japan at the beginning of high school with the American Field Service (AFS). I had never studied Japanese before and I lived in a small town, lived with a family that spoke no English, and attended a Japanese high school for one year.
