Hello. I have been teaching for 23 years and tutoring in Spanish and other subjects for more than 10 years. I have served as a substitute teacher in Hayward, CA for 1 1/2 years. I worked as a tutor for Learning & Loving It in San Jose, CA for 3 years. I served as a tutor and teacher of adult education in Loganville, GA for 1 year. I am currently on the substitute teacher roster for the Vicksburg School District, and I have been so for two years.

A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated cum laude from Jackson State University. I am currently pursuing a master's degree in mass comm/english literature. I have developed extensive grammatical and writing skills by doing research papers for myself as well as assisting fellow peers and other students who had a need for a writer. During the last three years I have tutored and taught education in my church for the purposes of uplifting the educational ministry.
I have a love for education. This is my gift by teaching others what I have been taught throughout my educational life as well as professional life. My motto is simple: In all of your getting, get an understanding. I truly belive that every child can learn. Even a child with a disadvantage still comes with an advantage because they are always getting some help. It also depends on the child also. We must both be focused on the task at hand and together we must tackle it until it is thoroughly understood.
For the last past six years I have enjoyed my students. They never cease to amaze me with all the many things that they can grasp when you try. I was an assistant in JPS. Tutoring was my job. I have also tutored other grades up to fifth. I really enjoy kids and I always wish the best for them. I have also had to be the actual teacher for the remainder of the school year and did grades and end of the school year things due to the teachers' emergency leave.
