As a lifelong learner, I'm always motivated by students who have a curiosity for improving their own skills. I have a BA in liberal arts from Vassar College and a MS in Education from Queens College, which I earned through the full-time work/part-time study New York City Teaching Fellowship. I am fluent in Spanish, conversant in Japanese and French, and am always excited about learning more languages. A Little Bit About Me...

I am a fan of teaching people who are eager and willing to learn. If a person actually wants to learn, then the trick is merely to be patient, build up a persons confidence, and try as many angles as possible until you find the right one that clicks with how they best learn and are able to understand. Fundamental to the learning process however is in having a student actually do for themselves, rather than merely watch someone else, and work through the steps in a supportive environment. I also believe that people learn more from their mistakes than from their successes.
